The football and volleyball teams combined their efforts against breast cancer this season to raise $10,800 for Avera's pink fund!
Senior Trey Bourelle started the Tackle for a Cure event last year in honor of his grandmother. The volleyball team has held a Volley for the Cure event for the past 15 years, with junior Courtney Decker taking the reins this year. The two high school students combined their efforts this year with the football game Oct. 14 against Warner and the volleyball match Oct. 18 against Groton.
