Congratulations to the girls 4x400-meter relay team of eighth-graders Elexis Kramp and Rachel Melius, freshman Lilly Haven, and senior Ella Boekelheide on breaking the school record in a time of 4:12.55 and winning the event at the Roncalli Geffdog Relays! The previous record was set in 1998 by Jackie Mitchell, Jill Ford, Holly Wetzler and Renae Sparling in 4:15.03.
Girls Results
Kramp placed third in the 200-meter dash in a time of 28.29 while eighth-grader Brenna Halvorson placed sixth in 28.73.
In the 400-meter dash, Kramp placed fourth in 1:03.95 while Melius placed sixth in 1:06.12.
Boekelheide won the 1,600-meter run in 5:16.19 and the 800-meter run in 2:21.34 while Haven placed fourth in the 800 in 2:36.
Senior Sienna Kessler placed fourth in the 300-meter hurdles in 53.04.
The girls 4x200-meter relay team of Halvorson, Haven, Melius, and Kramp placed second in a time of 1:53.59.
Eighth-grader Kylee Henjum placed third in the shot put with a throw of 30-4.25 while senior Kyara Ratigan placed eighth with a throw of 27-4.
Henjum also placed fourth in the discus with a throw of 87-10.
Junior Lila Johnson placed seventh in the javalin with a throw of 82-2.
Boys Results
Sophomore Drew Sparling won the 400-meter dash in a time of 56.31, while senior Carson Ewalt took second in 56.97, eighth-grader Deklyn O’Daniel took third in 57.22, and eighth-grader Jack Lewis took fifth in 59.2.
Sparling placed second in the 800-meter run in 2:16.97 while eighth-grader Cohan Miller placed sixth in 2:38.13.
Freshman Kyle Olson placed eighth in the 1,600-meter run in 5:44.76.
Ewalt placed third in the high jump with a leap of 5-6, while sophomore Aiden Hahler placed eighth with a jump of 5-4.
