Congratulations to senior Ella Boekelheide on being named South Dakota High School Girls Athlete of the Year!
Ella won the state B cross country meet in October, leading her team to a runner-up finish, making it her third state cross country title. In track, she won the 800, 1600, and 3200-meter runs. In volleyball, she earned First Team All-Conference and helped her team to a third-place finish.
Ella will continue her running and academic pursuits at South Dakota State University next year.
